"CELEBRATION OF CHERRY HILL"
April 16 to April 30, 2014
---------------------
Last year -- with strong support from Cherry Hill Township - - all remaining
shade trees, still standing on Chapel Avenue between
Haddonfield Road and Kings Highway, were finally removed!
This "completion effort" ended a 40 year quest to create a
two-mile avenue with continuous rows of cherry trees
to honor the Township of Cherry Hill!
Our next challenge is to fill in areas on Chapel Avenue that are still in
need of cherry tree plantings! Once again we are asking the community to contribute to the cost of purchasing these cherry trees.
Cherry Hill's two-mile avenue of blossoming cherry trees will call on
the townspeople, our schools, our organizations, our businessmen
and our ethnic/religious groups to come together to
celebrate the many fine attributes of Cherry Hill!
The staging and sharing of positive events to coincide
with the arrival of the cherry blossoms on Chapel Avenue!
We will proudly celebrate the Township of Cherry Hill during the
two weeks display of the beautiful cherry blossoms on Chapel Avenue!
